i dont do what raymattion does i usually do the resigning the players on super bowl midweek.

I don't like waiting that long. Some players have been known to reject the first few attempts to renegotiate. I usually start evaluating and re-signing around week 10. At that point the trade deadline has passed and there aren't any variables left that affect re-signing or letting them walk.
