Ends up being an enormous defensive battle.

He did call that olb flats play 17 times for around 70 yards 1 td and 1 interception. Looking back at the log ...your offensive play calls in those senerios got tagged for abuse as the game carried on and that play didn't allow many yards after the tenth time called. The pendulum swings widely with those play abuse penalties . But with no penalty for base sets your were the one spamming plays. ....according to the the code.

I honestly think you would have pounded out a 6 yard average per play vs. That defensive call if your play calls were more balanced . Parabolizing ratings has this abuse penalty being quite strong in these senerios where the offense is the one using the same plays alot.

He has an elite dline who have elite speed. Same for his elite speed LBs. Kinda of a good model for spamming that play . The league isn't that active either . Very easy to garner talent for spamming anything . An active league would be tougher to get that group of speed. As you would need an elite to stop a good running team without blitzes

The play counts here in the first were 3 times for you and two for him . The result td. No verbage to indicate any abuse causing a different outcome.

6 (7:23) 19-Kyle Flores pass complete to 86-Arthur Bates for 46 yards. TOUCHDOWN! CIN 6 BAL 0
Offensive Play: Singleback Big WR Deep
Defensive Play: 4-3 Normal Man OLB Flat Zone - Pass Key

Here we are in the 4th were play counts were high for both teams, but you called the play 10 times by then. Him probably more but there's no penalty for that play cause there's not a blitz call within it. The penalty is cited in the verbage only cause it had any effect on the outcome. Other words you would have had a better chance if that play was called less.

:10) 19-Kyle Flores pass Pass knocked down by 20-Daniel Miller. incomplete, intended for 22-Freddie Williams. The defense seems to be getting familiar with that play. PENALTY - Offsides (BAL 73-Matthew Houston)
Offensive Play: Singleback Big WR Deep
Defensive Play: 4-3 Normal Man OLB Flat Zone - Pass Key

The play count is always there but the citations are only viewable when the outcome is effectived. Keeping counts below 10 times a game is a good number as long as you have way better players in those senerios , but really I like never going above 5 times for one particular play that carries the penalty .

As this is a nerf of sorts to force guys not to blitz all game only cause blocking is not the best and blitz beating plays either were not adjusted yet and or need more work. The hot read was put in to help with blitzes a while back but that was kinda lost within the new passing algorithms recently installed .

I honestly think spamming those plays won't give you a great benefit unless your team is great and a great team should be good at a variety of defensive stlyes. Spamming this particular defensive play is a part of 4.5 due to the weaknesses in zone( compared to man) and the quicker reactions of defenders . Also, you cant throw outside deep or deep for that matter . So , almost every is spammable in some way.

I beat alot of teams in the flats with the 3rd and 4th options all throughout 4.4 and 4.5. There's coverage bugs on alot of defensive plays in general so getting one that kinda works and sticking with has been the model of every successful owner here. Some just make it look more realistic .

Ok thank you for the heads up.
I honestly only change my gameplans about every 2 seasons by adding and removing what plays works and which doesnt. Maybe i didnt put enough offensive plays this time.
Please dont believe im doing these overuse on purpose, Smirt can confirm, i dont mess with gameplanning at all, complete noob here talking.

No never, you were thrown it to this cause the of the code to prevent abusers. Not necessarily what you were attempting to do in the first place . That's why this should be in the bug section, but at least explainable and semi manageable once you know kinda how it works.

It just becomes a chess match and a little less RL football. That was really my only complaint with that release , but parabolic changes recently have highlighted it. Pre you could run a play 20 times and win out as long as you had elite talent across the board .

In 4.5 I seen guys picking goaline zone , it comes without a penalty , strictly vs. My 5 Wide sets. It worked well due to extra pressure . Those guys coming should be counted as a blitz and be penalized for it , but there aren't . Same for the 3-4, if you bring that 4th guy it's counted as a blitz and penalized , when a 4-3 is the same thing in terms of pressure (guys coming) but it is not penalized. That would devalue any play that was 3-4, blitz 1 in comparison to the 4-3, no blitz .

Still, all this is better than losing to a guy who blitzes everytime . That's never happened in the nfl. Maybe 75% of the time, but most teams blitze rates won't even break the 50% mark.
