I liked Unmasked a lot better in the 80's but KISS makes me ill now, can't even listen to them.

I was reminded of this album today because of how KISS concealed their identity before this album came out, then made a big deal about unmasking themselves.

Life imitates art in a way.

I remember the "masked era" so well as magazines would have partially obscure pictures of the band without makeup on.

Such a hilarious gimic that would never work nowadays. Back then music magazines were clearly in on it and played along.

Different times...different world!!!

Take away the makeup and theatrics on stage and the music wasn't that great with a few exceptions....IMO!!!

I remember all the tabloid stuff, I think Gene was the first unmasked one as he was getting photographed while dating Cher. Since the cat was out of the bag, I think they decided to all unmask.

Could be wrong, that was a lot of years and brain cells ago.

If ya don't know, Becker played with Megadeth's Friedman in Cacaphony. Marty Friedman got the offer to join Megadeth (1987) and does so. Friedman joined Megadeth and we got "Rust In Peace." Becker went on to become David Lee Roth's next EVH and wrote and played all the Guitars on DLR's "A Little Ain't Enough" (1991).
Becker was diagnosed with ALS 1989.
"A Little Ain't Enough" would be his last studio recording.

On to the matter. The new Ace Frehley album is so tasty - Frehley's Comet Self Titled only better tasty. Never a Kiss fan, always an Ace fan, right Rock Soldiers?

There's a band called Hurt, they disbanded in 2014 but left behind some great music. I personally like all of their music but recommended starter songs for me would be Danse Russe, Alone with the sea (Vol. II Version), Falls apart, Rapture, Ten ton brick (Their most popular), World ain't right, 1331, caught in the rain, and when it's cold. Again those are just my personal recommendations.
