I'm a newbie, so please let me know if I've missed something, but I saw something strange while looking over my roster & staff on my new team (http://cust18.myfootballnow.com/team/3). I wanted to try to evaluate/change some of my position coaches.
Then I saw an odd behavior on their contract screens:
* For the coaches signed to less than one million dollars...
(i.e. positional coaches, six-figure incomes, all appear signed to a $126,000 (minimum?) contract)
* They are only available to be resigned for a contract 10x their current salary
(i.e. making $126,000 now, can only resign for $1,260,000, so an extra zero)
It's hard to tell what my actual "coach cash flow" is, but based on the bar on the contract screen, I'm guessing it's about $7,000,000. Trying to resign even a couple of position coaches this way would put the total coach contracts way over the available.
I get that if you're promoting a position coach, he's due a big raise, maybe in that range, and if he's really talented, higher salary is justified, but a 1000% raise? Doesn't add up, especially because the coaches I was looking at were the worst on my team, with rating in the 50s just for positional coaching.
Since the amount asked for is exactly one-extra-zero from the current salary, I am guessing this is a bug. Higher-paid coaches (HC/OC/DC) who are making over $1,000,000 seem to ask for salaries correctly in that screen (i.e. the same amount, or a little more)
If I can provide any other useful info to diagnose, let me know. Thanks!
