Really not that big of a deal just curious as to why in CST9 Las Vegas hasn't clinched a playoff birth.

I'll take this......Las Vegas is at 10-4, Columbus (my team) is at 8-6 if you win next game you clinch the PO spot. But if you would happen to lose both of your remaining games, and I win both of mine we could both be 10-6. Then it could come down to a tie-breaker.
Don't worry about it, I have to play Valkyries (next to no chance) again and San Jose very possible win, but who knows for sure.

So Good Luck in the PO's!!!!

I don't have much to play for at this stage, so in the interests of keeping things interesting for the wildcard race I can sit my starters for you User, haha.

That little "e" doesnt mean we are elimnated? Maybe Im reading it wrong, but then my team is not eliminated either?

I think you may have hit a situation where the two algorithms are not agreeing. They both are set to err on the side of not showing a result if the tiebreaker goes too deep, but in this case it looks like the clinching algorithm didn't resolve to the same level as the elimination algorithm. So I _think_ it's safe to say you have clinched, but the disparity does imply that there is an error in one of the two calculations.

No to belabor the point, there was another team I believe showing clinched in Week 15 but another team not showing anything. There was a third team I believe that ended up clinching that division.

My point being that I would be terribly upset if I showed clinched .. rested my starters .. lost the game AND a playoff spot.

clinching a playoff birth does not mean you will win your division. It just means you cannot miss out on a playoff birth.

Before resting players have a look through your division and conference to see the big picture. Clinching the division means you cant be beaten for the division.

The regular season has concluded, and two teams in one division are not showing as having either clinched or been eliminated.

O-H-I-O was showing in Wk 15 as having earned a playoff berth .. yet they are now eliminated because Philly in playing in the Wildcard round.

My point was had that been me, and I rested my starters. Then learning my team was out of the playoffs ... it would be the last day I logged in.
