I've delayed the sim while I decide what I think is fair in a Punt Block exploit situation.

I would probably not do this if this were the regular season, but being the playoffs, I need to ensure the integrity of the tournament results.

I also don't want to make a rushed decision based on emotion.

I will respect your decision, but as of now, I'm doing the punt block. I can only expect this to backfire, but I'll try. Because this league has a limited future, I don't really care if I get booted.

We CANNOT have teams going into playoff games following two different sets of rules.

We had an agreement, and now half the teams left in the playoff are openly operating outside that agreement.

Until we can agree on what's fair, I will not let the league sim.

I suggest the four remaining teams agree to a solution, and let me know what their solution is. Either ALL go in agreeing to disregard the exploit ban, or ALL go in agreeing to adhere to the ban.

I will not continue as admin after this season. If anyone else wants to take this league to try to save it, you're welcome to it. Let me know, and I'll send JD the email.

I've personally put MANY credits into saving this league. I won't do it again. I'm here to have fun, not be a babysitter.

I think people should respect the Admins rules and adhere to them, graciously.
If by some miracle I end up in the final and have to play a team that is using the exploit, I still will not, out of principle and respect for Billstein.

Being a league admin is sometimes a thankless task and its made even harder when people don't tow the line. This was a good league that has been running for a while, I joined because I wanted to save it. People are complaining about rubbish leagues and leagues that are not full, this is partially down to absent admins or inexperienced admins. Billstein has done a really good job this season and now once again his league is in jeopardy.

With regards to exploit punt block, Its not welcome in this league, now or moving on, until JDB can add a patch to fix it.
So if you decide to use it and it helps you win a game, fine it's a hollow win and you will not be invited back next season, so please try and play by the rules and get a meaningful title.
