Just had a situation occur in another league where a 3 month exp owner picked up a team, and traded high round picks for a high rated player that had a high salary, which caused his salary cap to go negative and the player was cut at the next sim. He pm'd me not knowing or understanding what happened. Its a pain to try and fix the mistake. So, this post is a disclaimer of sorts.

Know and understand how your salary cap works and is affected by transactions. If you go over your salary cap on a trade, draft, or free agent acquisition, the AI general manager will step in and make cuts to bring the salaries back under the cap, starting with your highest paid player, who is most likely a very good player that you do not want to lose. If you are not sure, pm me or someone else in the league. I cannot reverse a transaction or fix it through league editing, the league admin does not have the capability to do that. So, be aware, know what is going on with your salary cap, this post will be permanent and I will post in all 3 leagues that I currently admin. cheers
