Take a look at ...
https://afl.myfootballnow.com/box/6135

Note that in the drive chart for my team, Canton Bulldogs, the first drive is

1 14:47 4:04 OPP 25 6 -49 Field Goal

Now, what has been missed is that first play of the game, my KR returned for a TD.

From the scoring summary, opponents the Generals scored a 44 yard field goal with 10:46 left in the first quarter; starting at the 25, they went 7 plays including the FG, getting to my 26 yard line for a 44 yard field goal - 25 + 25 = half way line, another 24 takes it to my 26 yard line for the drive should have been

1 14:47 4:04 OPP 25 6 49 Field Goal

in the Generals section.

So, what I am suggesting is the following, given similar occurred with a pick six in another game.

1) Drives are incorrectly registered when a non offensive TD occurs.
2) First drive after the non offensive TD is assigned to the team that scored the non offensive TD, not the opposition.

I've PM'd boss man, who probably won't read it, but hopefully it'll make sense for anyone wonder why the drive chart box can tend to be wrong.

Interesting. I had always assumed a lot of the yardage stuff had to do with hidden decimal calculations in the game. Runs of 5.6 yards and 6.4 yards each show as gains of 6 yards and are recorded as such in the stats, but the game actually tracking the "true" location of the football down to the decimal, so if you get a string of "overs" (3.2, 5,1, 6.4...) suddenly people only get credit for 14 yards of offense, but the ball has moved 15 yards on the field.
