Well vcr, that was def a tale of 2 very different halfs. The 2nd half sim/rolls were real cruel to Harmon, 5 picks for a QB that had only thrown 7 total in the previous 8 games is not a very likely thing to happen.. The Redwood offense did a good job of converting the TO's into points, but after a first half with zero TO's, I was expecting our usual back & forth to the finish. We get to do it again in 4 games, I'd bet the farm the result will be a lot different.
wow - that was a total breakdown in the 2nd half. In the 3rd & 4th quarter, Boise's QB went 6 of 18 for 55 yards ... and 5 ints. Boise had 6 turnovers in the 2nd half, and California put up 30 points with them. Talk about examples of futility and efficiency.
Boise was a paper tiger coming in this game, and I knew it would be a couple off-seasons to get them on track - but I didn't think they would look like 1976 Tampa Bay Bucs bad.
Lol - I think California hit "play familiarity" with your installed offense right at the end of the 2nd quarter. They looked like a buzzsaw from that point on.
