The Red Woods announced late yesterday an ownership change. Tman was introduced as the 3rd owner for this team since it’s inception.
“Things are going to change, and they are going to change quickly. It’s sad that this wonderful town has yet to see a winning football team, and I plan on producing that here really soon. And right after that, we will bring the playoffs to Red Woods’ Territory.”
True to his word, Tman made several roster moves to rid the team of high salaried dead weight as bring in some hungry talent.

Things seem to be turning the corner in California. After starting the season 0-3, the team made an ownership change and has gone 3-3 since. “Ideally we would like to have better than a 3-6 record at the moment, but I see improvement”, said Red Woods owner, Tman. “I have the utmost confidence in Coach Everett and his staff at this point.”
The team near had another win but was edge by just a single point to prevent them from actually having a 3-game winning streak, something that seemed unlikely after Week 3. “Fans just have to trust the process right now and know that we are working hard to bring a winner here to California”

The sun is setting on another AFL season but the hopes are high for next year in California. Red Woods owner, tman0115, promised big changes were coming for his football team and he was correct. After taking ownership of an 0-3 team and basically gutting the roster of high priced garbage and replacing it with grit and heart, the Red Woods have responded with a 7-4 record including 5 wins in the last 6 weeks.

In the last two weeks, a 33-30 overtime thriller over The Dakota Sioux and a last minute 30-27 win over the Texas Terror, California has sent notice to the league by beating two potential playoff teams.

Can the Red Woods close the season with 2 more wins to finally finish a season with a winning record? It will not be because of a lack of effort on the players side. These players know what is at stake. They also know that a lack of effort is your easy ticket out of town as was proven earlier this year.
