12/30/17 The NY Titans are under new ownership. Veteran Owner, General Manager, and Head coach TimReeseJr has comitted to rebuilding. "This team is a mess right now." ReeseJr said during the initial press conference. "We started off the day with half a roster, and a good portion of the coaching staff had contracts that expired or are in the last year. Due to this, we will be entertaining offers on any of the decent players we have left. We have to start from basically zero." ReeseJr noted that he will be looking for draft picks, but will look into any trade offer.

12/31/17 Due to underwhelming trade offers, ReeseJr stated today that he is no longer willing to trade his players. "Some owners thought we were having a fire sale here in NY, or maybe they thought I was some rookie running his first team." "While I will consider offers, I am no longer actively seeking to trade. We will have to rebuild this team from the draft and free agency."

State of the Titans: So far, our recent draft picks have seen mixed success. We have made improvements along the o line, and I think the team is ready for a new offensive scheme this year. Are we going to make a playoff run this year? I am not about to stand here and tell you that, but our defense played pretty well last year, if we can move the ball better this year, I think we can win 6 or 7 games. This young team is hungry and refuses to be a bye week in this league. This season fixes almost of the dead money, so we will have the ability to be aggressive in the FA market next year. We also have 2 first round picks next year, which may be available for trade options depending on how our season starts.

"It hasn't been pretty, but we will take it." TimReeseJR said today. "Brewer has just got to improve his game, with 1 TD and 4 INT in 3 games, he has just got to get better." Fourth year running back John Newman is averaging over 100 yards a game rushing, and a defense that is number one in INT, and number 3 in SACKS, has brought this team to 2-1 so far this season. "If we can get some kind of passing game going, and not turn the ball over so much...well, we will certainly compete with anyone."

"The Titans jumped 24 spots in the power rankings to number 6, I think that says a lot about the drive on this team. We still have a lot to prove though, with a tough Philly team coming in, who already beat us once this season. I promised at the beginning of the season that this team would no longer be an extra bye week, and I think we have shown you that is the case."

"First I want to apologize for not keeping myself more available to the press, but as you can see from our record, we have a lot of work left to do here. That record does not reflect the talent on this team. I will tell you this, don't expect us to roll over now that our playoff outlook is so dim. It's dim, not out. Our players believe we can still make a run, and so do I. Coach Brooks job is not in jeopardy at this time, although we are constantly monitoring conditions on a moment by moment basis. He has assured me that the team is really now buying into the new offense, and he is figuring out how to adapt that playbook to our players talents. We look forward to taking on the Panthers this week."

Coach Brooks and I have had a long conversation after the disappointing lost to the Heroes. 4 fumbles in a game by our QB is simply unacceptable. Closing out week 10 with 8 fumbles is unacceptable. With that being said we have decided that we will be making a change at the starting QB position. Third year man, Jordan Ellis will get the nod against his old team Tampa Bay. Backing him up will be rookie, Shane Luster. Brewer will be inactive. Jordan had an excellent preseason, and we feel like his mobility will help out this offensive line. We will be evaluating Jordan's performance, and will make adjustments accordingly. Let me clarify that this is not a project for next year. We are still in the hunt at this point, and we will do what ever it takes to win.

That was a tough OT loss to Roswell. In his two games Jordan has only managed to throw for 2 TD's. He did a pretty good job in there keeping the turnovers down, but we need to score. At this point, we are willing to try anything to get us in the playoffs. So we are going to give our rookie 5th round pick, QB Shane Luster a look this week against the Burn. Some may say that we are looking to the future now with our playoff hopes hanging by a thread. We hope other teams continue to think that, but we think Shane has developed very well this year and can get us in the end zone instead of through the uprights.

As an organization, we are disappointed that we are eliminated from the playoffs. We were in a lot of close games, but came out on the wrong end of a few. We will use the remaining games to evaluate and progress players, renegotiate some contracts, and get ready for the draft. At this point we are keeping our options open as far as the higher level coaching positions, and we should see some normal coaching changes at the position level.

The Grady Brewer era in NY is officially over. We had an understanding with Grady that this would be his last chance in our organization. We completely rebuilt our offensive line, and redesigned our playbook to give him the best chances at success. After 2 games this season, he has been sacked 17 times and intercepted 5 times with only 1 touchdown. In his career, he has never broken a 100 QB rating. Maybe the synergy just isn't here for him in NY, so we are giving him the opportunity to try his skills with another team as a free agent. QB Shane Luster will take over as our starter.

for several reasons, I have chosen to place the team in the hands of league officials, and place the team for sale. I will set the team up so that the AI doesn't destroy it right away. See you in the other leagues.
